Balancing Sceience and Art, Darshana shines as a skilled Clinical Research Professional, and her role as a producer at The Hive allows her to seamlessly bring captivating productions to life on stage. With expertise in overseeing every aspect of a production, she adeptly balances and coordinates the business and financial elements, including casting.

 Having successfully produced around 35 community engaged theatrical productions, Darshana’s unwavering passion resonates through her meticulous approach to all facets of staging a production. From start to finish, she wholeheartedly embraces the challenge of crafting unforgettable theatrical experiences.

Jimish is the Artistic Director & Drama Educator of The Hive Performing Arts.

With a Speech & Drama Associate Degree in Performance from Trinity College of London, Jimish’s teaching involves a combination of classical techniques and practical skills learnt over the span of 20 as a community theatre actor & director.

​Jimish’s directorial work includes Eve Ensler’s The Vagina Monologues, Jefftery Hatcher’s Wait Until Dark, Reginald Rose’s 12 Angry Jurors, Saadat Hassan Manto’s – Stories of Manto, Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock, the multiple-award winning production William Gibson’s The Miracle Worker, Harry Potter – The Boy Who Lived, Adventures of Indiana Jones, The Jungle Book, Aaron Sorkin’s The Farnsworth Inven,on, Frederick Knott’s Wait Until Dark & Yasmina Reza’s Art.

​Identified by UAE’s Masala Magazine as one of the HOT 100 Personality of the year 2017, Jimish’s achievements include winning the best director award for directing The Miracle Worker and winning the best actor award for his role as Karsten Bernick in Henrik Ibsen’s Pillars of Society.
